Choreography Night Special

Want to do a rock musical?

Are you having problems with sound?

Reinforcing sound for school stage productions is much more challenging than in professional theatre because of the inherent weakness of the child voice.  I have been tackling this challenge for some time and have evolved a system, which I believe is excellent and economical.

The speaker system is BOSE, I like this system for natural sounding voice reproduction, overhead are omni-directional condenser microphones. To boost the lead roles or weaker voices I have a twenty-channel radio microphone system, which works well and is very economical as it uses supplied rechargeable batteries.

Finally the equalization is state of the art. This gives maximum level before feedback and a clear natural sound.  In a “dead” auditorium we can boost the sound without giving the feeling that the sound is amplified.  In a resonant room this is harder to achieve, but I believe we come as close as possible to that target.

I have priced the system as low as possible to make it viable for schools, the weekly hire rate is $750 installed or if you have a good P.A. system the radio microphones alone are $400 per week for a set of six, and once set up, a bright student, or even a teacher, will be able to operate.

Please feel welcome to call at any time, with any question, no job is too small or too big.
